Objective

Expand the design process by using Arti­fi­cial Intel­li­gence (AI) to com­bine two sym­bols or logos into a series of hybrid ones to explore pos­si­ble solutions.

Exercise:

Using sym­bols from pre­vi­ous or in-process assign­ments, gen­er­ate image-based forms and prompt an image based AI pro­gram to develop a series com­bined marks. As the tools advance, the abil­ity to use them for cre­ative pur­poses expands for those with­out nec­es­sary hand skills or time before a deadline.

Part One

Decide which pro­grams will pro­vide the best pos­si­ble oppor­tu­ni­ties. Var­i­ous lev­els of fea­tures are part of each pro­gram and any asso­ci­ated costs. No pur­chase are required, only optional. Research use of poten­tial choices, focus on options, vari­a­tions, oper­a­tions and tricks 

Develop list of prompts using the links above, plus any found for com­bin­ing images. Doc­u­ment these prompts in a text editor.

Part Two

Export oppo­site images cre­ated through the course of another project. Each pro­gram will uti­lize dif­fer­ent tools, but gen­er­ate the image for­mat best uti­lized with the pro­gram, gen­er­ally a raster images, but pos­si­bly a vector. 

Recre­ate, upload and or prompt the pro­gram to com­bine the images. Down­load and save the result­ing images, and repeat as often as nec­es­sary to get at least three (3) dis­tinct solu­tions. Con­vert any image file to a vec­tor for use in vec­tor applications. 

Cre­ate a PDF from the files, includ­ing the text prompts, and deliver it to the appro­pri­ate D2L Dropbox.
