This piece was com­mis­sioned by The Hitch­ing Post Antiques and Elizabeth’s Attic of Bro­ken Arrow, Okla­homa, which pro­motes a well-estab­lished antiques dis­trict on the town’s his­toric Main Street. A rooster theme incor­po­rates a cur­rent trend in col­lec­tables and a long-stand­ing local cel­e­bra­tion on Main Street enti­tled “Rooster Days.” The devel­op­ment of this project included cre­at­ing the con­cep­tual mes­sage, pho­tog­ra­phy, design and lay­out, pro­duc­tion esti­mates and qual­ity con­trol. Chal­lenges spe­cific to this project include orga­niz­ing store loca­tions, cre­at­ing maps iden­ti­fy­ing the loca­tions from major trans­porta­tion routes, and­co­or­di­nat­ing com­mu­nity support.
