Commissioned by the glass specialization, the objective of this project was to create a promotional tool to be distributed at the 2006 Annual Glass Art Society Conference in St. Louis, Missouri and at similar events across the country. Responsibilities included design, layout, and production supervision through on-campus commercial printing facilities. Communicating a shift in instruction from blowing to additional building techniques and the quality of student and faculty work was the primary challenge of the design solution. The typographic decisions and the organization of graphics were combined to establish a preeminence of imagery, while remaining consistent with the University’s graphic standards.
