Exercise

Login to your Word­Press site. Click on the Appear­ance >Themes menu on the left side of the Dash­board. Choose “Add New” at the top of the Themes Win­dow. Using the result­ing menu and/or the Inter­net, find and install a theme from each of the fol­low­ing nav­i­ga­tional categories:

• No (or very min­i­mal) style
• roll over
• drop down
• bread­crumb (optional, my require plug-in)
• card or panel
• visual or icon

Resist the urge to exper­i­ment with the menus, wid­gets, set­tings or cus­tomiza­tions. These options will be addressed in later exer­cises. Please com­plete any many as pos­si­ble, but it is accept­able to leave a cou­ple miss­ing if it requires sig­nif­i­cant manip­u­la­tion of the theme or installing a plug-in.

Once uploaded, take a screen shot of each theme in use in the browser, upload the files to the appro­pri­ate D2L dropbox.
