Exercise
A clean and dry screen is an essential first step in creating a print. The screen is a necessary part of the printing process. It is fragile and extreme care is needed to keep it in working order.
Part One
Select the assigned screen and take it to the washout booth. Turn on the backlight and the water. Use the backlight to inspect for damage, dirt or grease. Wet both sides of the screen with a gentle mist from the hose sprayer. Spray degreaser on both sides and gently scrub. Rinse both sides with the sprayer, making sure all soap is removed and drains away from the edges. Squeegee any access water. Store in drying rack until needed. Turn off light and water. Drain sprayer hose by pressing handle.
