Assignment
Having a solid understanding of the technology underlying the internet as it is presently known is key to understanding the more advanced software and usability functions that are used daily. Review the appropriate pages in Robbins’ Learning Web Design and complete the required exercises to explore these subjects.
Part One
Read Chapter 23, 24 and 25 in Robbins’ Learning Web Design. Using the provided files, save the sample images in each of the appropriate formats, first choosing the type (flat or continuous tone) and then the correct format (.jpg, .webp, .gif, etc). Next, create a set of favicon using the tools on the chapter.
Part Two
Complete exercises 24–1 to 24–3 in Chapter 24 of Robbins’ Learning Web Design. Feel free to turn in a set of files for any lessons that are sequential.
