Goal
The goal of the assignment is to learn the foundational process of professional project management for design projects, the design brief. This assignment correlates with the WPA-AGRD-Design Brief.
Objective
Create a written design brief that serves as the guiding document for the approval and production of a design project.
Background Reading

Assignment
After careful analysis of the project parameters, develop a project solution through brainstorming, sketches and proof-of-concept digital comps. The written brief then outlines the concept, style, deliverables and deadline for the entire project. The brief should coordinate with Assignment 02.03: ORU Theatre and Dance Promotion Package.
Part One
Brainstorm, sketch and begin digital mock-up in enough detail to confirm the solution is within reason. Begin your written description by outlining your solution prior to full production.
Part Two
Review Chapter 11 of the Phillips book. Use class lectures and notes to supplement and missing data. Complete a rough draft of your document. Include any visual samples as necessary. Have a class peer review your draft and make corrections.
Part Three
Complete the entire document based comments from your peers and instructor. Deliver a professionally prepared PDF document to the appropriate D2L dropbox.
