Goal
The goal of this assignment is to develop a multimedia, multi-format design solution.
Objective
The objective of this assignment us to produce a complete set of art, theatre or dance promotions directed at a campus audience, regardless of possible selection and publication.

Assignment
Create a multi-faceted promotional graphics for a departmental performance. The art director will choose the most professional solutions to present to the client. The client will choose a solution, but each student group is required to collaboratively development and produce one complete set for assessment. Each student is assigned a group and a performance.
Part One
Develop a concept through client presentation. Through research and discussion produce a conceptual solution that will serve as the basis for a design brief. Present a digital versions of solution to the art director (instructor) for review and commentary. Produce a low res PDF of your basic idea for a solution and save it in the appropriate project folder. Ideas can be sketches or rough comps. Please be aware of image quality, typeface restrictions, and rights issues before using any found resources.
Part Two
Identify the best three solutions from the group discussions. Create a sample of each that includes a poster, five (5) frame story-board of video, and program interior. Use the Design Brief Template to provide a basic conceptual framework to explain the logic behind the solution to the client.
Part Three
Create a complete set of artifacts including for the event. Produce the individual parts, using the information provided on the course server. Deadlines are based on project information sheet. Information can be found on D2L or in the course’s shared Google Drive folder. Images and art are available from iStockPhoto. Organize, label and compress the files and upload them to the appropriate D2L dropbox. Follow the file specifications for each individual piece, including naming conventions. Low-resolution video files are acceptable if too large to upload. Make sure a hi-res copy is given to the instructor on an alternative media device.
All students will receive the same score for the dropbox submissions.

Part Four
Revise for consistency and corrections. Provide fully editable authoring and support files in appropriate Google Drive for each project.
