Exercise 08.05: Style Sheets for Print

Goal

The pri­mary goal if this exer­cise is to cre­ate an InDe­sign file with stylesheets suit­able for pro­duc­tion work.

Objective

Recre­ate the pro­vided lay­out using the assigned type­face and appro­pri­ate con­tent, label­ing and use each style sheet as directed.

Part One

Cre­ate a 8.5′ x 11′ InDe­sign doc­u­ment using the pro­vided tem­plate file (exer08_05template.indt). Using the images below, cre­ate and set the styles to match the sam­ple pro­vided (exer08_05sample04.pdf). Fill with place­holder text and adjust as nec­es­sary to achieve the desired result. Any over­set text is accept­able at the end of the composition.

Place a CC copy of the InDe­sign file in the appro­pri­ate D2L dropbox.
