Exercise 04.01: WordPress Media Upload

Goal

To under­stand the mechan­ics of upload­ing and orga­niz­ing media in basic con­tent man­age­ment system.

Upload and post image files to a post.

Reading

Exercise

Find and upload an image to your Word­Press sites Media Library. The image could be a “selfie” or other rep­re­sen­ta­tive image. Com­plete the upload process by writ­ing an appro­pri­ate Title, Cap­tion, Alt Text and Descrip­tion. Attach the newly uploaded image to your ini­tial post.

Once uploaded, take a screen shot (cmd-shift‑3 on a Mac) of the browser, upload the file to the appro­pri­ate D2L drop­box, and copy the post perma­link to the drop­box Com­ments section.
