Assignment

Choose a pro­fes­sional orga­ni­za­tion to join. AIGA is bet­ter estab­lished nation­ally, more directly related to design, but the clos­est chap­ter is in Okla­homa City. ADCT is local, has great speak­ers, but may not be known abroad. AIGA also offers stu­dent group, of which I will spon­sor, if we can keep a cur­rent mem­ber­ship of ten stu­dents. This stu­dent group would need offi­cers selected from mem­bers and plan pro­gram­ming (such as guest lec­tur­ers). Stu­dents inter­ested in areas out­side design should con­sider the appro­pri­ate pro­fes­sional orga­ni­za­tion to suit their career objectives.
