Goal

The goal of this assign­ment is to demon­strate the knowl­edge and appli­ca­tion of Chris­t­ian faith and worldview.

Objective

The objec­tive of this assign­ment is to doc­u­ment one’s appli­ca­tion of Chris­t­ian faith and world­view as it relates to the stu­den­t’s intern­ship in a pro­fes­sional environment.

Assignment

Using notes and entries from KPA: Intern­ship Jour­nal and Sam­ples, write an essay describ­ing your per­sonal intern­ship expe­ri­ences with your Chris­t­ian faith and world­view. Under the Dis­cus­sions tab in D2L, select your name under “KPA: Faith and Pro­fes­sional Prac­tice” and click “Com­pose” to cre­ate your entry.

Pro­vide exten­sive exam­ples and illus­tra­tions to clar­ify your world­view based on your expe­ri­ence at ORU and the host. Include exam­ples that delin­eate any dif­fer­ences or sim­i­lar­i­ties to the poli­cies, atti­tudes and behav­ior of the orga­ni­za­tion and its staff. Ref­er­ence addi­tional sources as nec­es­sary, such par­tic­u­lar verses, com­men­taries or arti­facts from the internship. 

Write enough to pro­vide a clear struc­ture in the essay and describe your expe­ri­ence, but there is no min­i­mum word count required.
